An old picture taken in the 1960s or early 1970s of two aircraft on the ground at an airport. The aircraft could be either Boeing 707s or DC-8s. Both are painted in American Airlines livery which at that time was polished aluminum on upper surfaces and red-orange on lower surfaces. One of the aircraft is parked at the terminal, nose toward the camera, with the jetway extended and touching the fuselage. The second aircraft has departed the gate and the words 'American Airlines' can be seen on the side of the fuselage. Hills can be seen in the distance the sky is a hazy blue as if it was a hot summer's day. The picture was apparently taken through a viewing lounge window; if you look carefully it's possible to see slight reflections in the window.
