An image of what appears to be an oil painting of a white biplane parked on the ramp of an airport. The aircraft has gold accent stripes running the length of the of the fuselage and on the tips of the wings and wheel pants. The registration number, also in gold, is ยซ C-GWOW ยป. Some sort of logo is painted on the vertical stabiliser, but it's difficult to make out the details. The engine seems to be running in preparation for take-off. There are two pilots in separate cockpits. The sky is hazy blue and the lighting makes it look like summer. To the left of the airplane, in the distance, is the control tower for the airport. Superimposed over the image are the words ยซ FINE ART ยป in large block letters in a colour similar to the sky and then the word ยซ Friday ยป in script similar to the colour of the plane.

It's the second Friday of the month โ€” the day we celebrate aviation art in all its forms so long as it's made by human hands. Spotted something that's worthy of sharing? Let us know2. Meanwhile, here are a few great examples we've come across since last month. Also, you can find even more using our Bluesky Custom Feed3 of the same name. We hope those whose posts you really like you'll click on their post below and acknowledge their work with a like and maybe follow them to see their future posts:
