It's been a while since we featured an update from Electra. However, they've been busy filling their order book with $9 billion (with a 'B') worth of pre-orders for their EL9 'Ultra Short' aircraft. More news from Electra: they participated in this invitation-only event conducted in early November. Of note was the EL2's observed noise level of 55 dB at 152M (500ft) — that's about the same as an electric toothbrush. A conventional turbine is 75 dB at 152M — as loud as a vacuum cleaner. | 🛩️ ⚡️ 📰 ⚔️
